Who is The Hyena?

Hyaenidae resemble canids.  Although they are closer to felines (Felifornia) than canines, they are their own species.  Hyenas are known to have negative qualities such as ties to witchcraft, cowardice and gluttony.  In reality, these concepts are not true.  Hyenas are skilled and powerful hunters and share all bounty with their tribe.  (They may be witches, there’s no proof that they are not.)  Hyenas live in a world of death, but celebrate life.  They have a communal system in which the good of the whole is always tantamount to survival.

The Hyena is my pseudonym.

I have a degree in Political Science from University of California, Berkeley.  (I’m instantly more qualified than Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck to discuss 99% of the things I discuss, including them.  Anyone who wants to pay me $32 million to write a book, or $100k to give a speech, just tell me when and where.)

To claim an idea as your own, you must first be able to defend it.

What I write on this site is mostly rough drafts.  When I write an entry, what is posted is what I have just written.  For this reason, not only do spelling and grammatical errors abound, but some concepts are not properly explained.

In the same spirit of this site, I will likely revisit specific entries, and rewrite them as necessary.  It is highly unlikely that I will be able to concisely explain a vantage on the first try.  My attempt is to find the best way to espouse an idea, or to defend a concept so that I may know that I truly believe that concept.

The one (and only) thing I can promise on this site, is that I will never be happy with catch phrases and sound bites.
